Building useful things with software and data.
I'm Rawaz Askari, a Computer Science student at James Madison University pursuing minors in Mathematics and Robotics. I enjoy solving technical problems, building software, working with data, and exploring emerging technology.
About
A mix of technical curiosity, practical experience, and leadership.
I'm interested in software engineering, data, AI, and robotics. My coursework has given me experience with programming, algorithms, data structures, systems programming, web development, and mathematical problem solving.
Outside the classroom, I've worked with real datasets, supported a technology startup, helped run a family automotive business, and taken on leadership responsibilities in the JMU Robotics Club. I enjoy learning by building and working through problems that have a practical outcome.
I'm currently looking to continue growing through internships, collaborative technical projects, and opportunities where I can contribute while learning from experienced engineers.

Outside of Tech
A few things that keep me balanced.
Getting outside and exploring.
Hiking is one of my favorite ways to reset, stay active, and get away from a screen for a while. I enjoy being outdoors, taking on challenging trails, and exploring new places.
Always listening to something.
Music is a big part of my life outside of school and work. I enjoy exploring different artists, albums, and genres, and it is one of the main ways I connect with creativity.
